General Guidelines

1. The manuscript must be original, free from plagiarism, and has never been published or under consideration in another scientific journal.
2. Please submit your manuscript as a Microsoft Word Document (DOCX).
3. Download this Manuscript Template and follow the guidelines, then use the files in your article.
4. To submit, register and upload your manuscript via: https://ijecl.ppj.unp.ac.id
5. Manuscripts may be accepted without revision, accepted with revisions, or rejected. Rejected manuscripts will not be returned unless requested by the author.
6. Blind review instructions have been followed for peer-reviewed submissions.
7. References include URLs where applicable; use the reference application.

Article Publication Stages

1. Submit the article via the journal system.
2. Editorial screening includes:
   1. Template compliance
   2. English language compliance
   3. Plagiarism check (must be below 15%)
   • If criteria are not met, the editor will return the article for revision. Revisions must be submitted within 1–4 weeks.
   • If revisions are submitted, the editor will re-evaluate points 2a–c. If passed, it will proceed to review.
   • If not revised, the article will be rejected.
3. Peer review will evaluate:
   1. Relevance of the topic to the journal
   2. Content relevance
   3. Language quality
   4. Formatting
   • Reviews take 1–4 weeks; feedback will be shared via email or journal system.
   • Authors must revise accordingly and resubmit via OJS for re-review.
   • If reviewers approve, move to step 4. If not, repeat step 3.
   • Unrevised submissions will be rejected.
4. Upon reviewer approval, the article is reviewed by the Chief Editor.
5. If approved, a Letter of Acceptance (LoA) will be issued. Otherwise, it may be rejected or returned for further revision.
6. Accepted articles proceed to production and publication.

Copyright Notice

1. The authors retain copyright but grant publication and indexing rights to the journal.
2. Authors retain rights such as patents and reuse in future work (lectures, press releases, textbooks, etc.).
3. For third-party republication, written permission must be obtained from the Managing Editor.
4. The work is original and properly cites any third-party materials included.
5. The final submitted version is not substantially similar to any previously published work.
6. The submission has not been offered elsewhere for publication.
7. Authors may share their work with proper citation and link to the journal source.
8. All content is protected under the copyright policies of IJECL.
9. Published articles are available for scholarly and research use.
10. IJECL is not responsible for claims arising from publications in its journal.

Privacy Statement

The names and email addresses submitted to this journal will be used solely for journal purposes and will not be disclosed to any third parties.
